General terms and conditions of sale for the

Winter Season for the 360 Les Gets-Samoëns-Avoriaz & Morzine Ski Schools

The following general terms and conditions of sale are an integral part of the contract concluded with the 360 International Ski School. 

By signing these general conditions of sale, the client accepts the terms and undertakes to apply them, bring them to the attention of, and have them applied to all participants for whom they are making the reservation. 

  • Period of activity :

The 360 ski school will be open according to the opening dates of the Portes du Soleil and Grand Massif ski areas for the Winter season. These dates are subject to change according to snow conditions.

  • Lesson attendance :

The teaching of skiing or other snow sports takes place in a particular and changing environment. Participation in lessons therefore requires good physical fitness and good health. It is essential to inform the office and the instructor if the participant has a disability.

The instructors cannot be held responsible in case of a problem due to an unreported disability.

All participants are required to have suitable clothing and equipment for winter sports, which is not included in the service.

A ski pass allowing access to the ski lifts per participant is obligatory for the entire duration of the course, this is not provided in the service and is available at the ski lift ticket offices or on line www.sagets.fr or www.grand-massif.com or www.skipass-avoriaz.com

We strongly recommend that each student should take out insurance beforehand to cover the risks of practicing winter sports.

  • Supervision of services :

Our ski instructors are certified professionals in their specialities. (qualified ski instructors or trainee ski instructors) and are holders of professional civil liability insurance.

All 360 instructors are affiliated to the International Ski School Federation.

All lesson participation is subject to the sole discretion of the instructors according to the physical and moral aptitudes of the pupil. When registering, the 360 school gives clients the freedom to choose their level or that of their child from a “level grid” which can be consulted on our website. At the end of the booking process, the client is responsible for his or her choice of level.

However, the instructors reserve the right to transfer a pupil to a different, adapted  group level if this does not correspond to the initial inscription.

No refund can be claimed due to enrollment in the wrong level.

  • Insurance :

The school premises are insured under a general contract and civil liability insurance.

All 360 instructors are covered by civil liability insurance in case of damage to a third party in the exercise of their function.

Our courses do not include insurance. It is essential that clients take out insurance to cover bodily injury, civil liability, cancellation of lessons, medical aid, repatriation costs and breakage or theft of equipment.

No reimbursement will be made in the event of an accident.

360 is not responsible in the event of an accident between people on the same course.

  • Weather conditions :

Weather conditions are in no way a cause for cancellation or postponement as long as the activity is provided by the instructors.

No refund or postponement will be made.

  • Reservation, registration and payment :

Lessons must be booked directly at our office or via our online booking system before your stay.

 The booking will be accepted after the agreement of the ESI and your payment.

. Lessons are therefore reserved for specific dates and times.

The total amount of our services or a deposit is due at the time of your reservation and validates the contract between the 360 Ski School and the client.

If you make a reservation via our online reservation center less than 15 days before the first lesson, only one total payment by credit card will be possible to validate your booking.

When registering at the office, there is no withdrawal period.

At your registration, you recognise being informed of, and accepting, our terms of sale of :

  • Prices :

Our prices can be consulted in the office, on our website, our brochures or by telephone.

These prices only include the price of the ski/snowboard teaching service or derived activities as well as the medal for children who have followed group lessons for 6 sessions.

Not included in these prices are : insurance, ski lift passes, clothing, equipment, transport and accommodation, which are all at your own expense.

  • Cancellation :

Cancellation by the client :

Any reservation made at the reception desk is final and cannot be reimbursed.

For all bookings made in advance via our booking system, the cancellation policy is as follows.

 – Up to 6 weeks before the first course : refund of the deposit (generally 50% of the total amount) or of the total amount (if paid in full)

 – Between 6 weeks and 2 weeks before the 1st lesson : non-refundable deposit, if full payment 50% refund.

 – 2 weeks before the first course : no refund.

During your stay: no refund or compensation will be given for any lateness, absence, illness, injury, or weather conditions.

Please note that there is an administration charge of 10% for all refunds that are processed

 Covid-19 :

In the event of resort (ski lifts) closing the 360 school undertakes to reimburse you the deposit or total amount paid less 10% administration fees .

  • Cancellation by the school :

360 school reserves the right to cancel or modify the timetable of a group if it does not consist of the minimum number of students required. In this case, the 360 ski school undertakes to reimburse the totality of monies paid. 

  • Resolution of Disputes :

In the event of any dispute concerning the contract between 360 and the client, both parties will initially endeavor to resolve amicably. If no agreement is reached, after having referred the matter to the school management by registered letter with or without acknowledgment of receipt, and in the absence of a satisfactory response or in the absence of a response within 60 days, the client may refer the matter to the consumer mediator. All litigation of all kinds and inclusive of any summary proceedings will be subject to French civil and commercial jurisdiction.  

  • Photos and video :

On our websites we use photos and videos taken during our lessons. Please inform us before in writing if you do not agree, failing that your consent will be implied.

  • In the event of an accident :

In the event of an accident caused by a third party, neither the ski instructor nor the ESI have any obligation to know or determine the identity of the third party. In the case of any conflict arising between the 3rd party and the client neither the ski instructor nor the ESI accept responsibility to seek a resolution.
