A perfect opportunity to discover the mountain wilderness away from the crowded slopes and villages. Breathtaking scenery, discovering fresh animal tracks in pristine snow.
Our experienced guide, passionate out back enthusiast, will share with you his skills in observing and photographing the wildlife that can be found in our region.
The materiel (snow shoes and poles) are not included.

CROSS COUNTRY SKIING Avoriaz
TAKE A BREATH OF FRESH AIR!
Try cross-country skiing, a traditional winter sport discipline. Following tracks through the forest and open spaces is an ideal way to keep fit and taking in the fresh mountain air, discovering stunning landscapes.
You can learn or progress with our instructors with their up to date and adapted teaching methods whether you are a beginner or wish to improve.
CLASSIC STYLE
A style that’s move adapted to beginners, with the 2 skis in the tracks, similar to walking and less physical. Easier than skating a style that comes naturally taking you around shorter runs.
SKATING STYLE
A style that’s faster and more energetic, similar to ice- skating and roller blades. Your instructor will take you around longer runs.

ELEGANCE FIRST AND FOREMOST !
This is the oldest style of modern skiing, with your boot attached just at the front.
BEGINNERS This discipline challenges your balance in a completely different way to alpine skiing. On the slopes or through soft powder it’s an unforgettable sensation of elegance.
INTERMEDIATE (TURNING PARAlLEL) is required, don’t worry our instructors will do the rest!

SKI TOURING / BACK COUNTRY Avoriaz
Do you wish to reach the highest peaks?
If you are a good skier, physically fit and love the wilderness then this alpine sport is just for you. Alone or with friends (Max 5) our experienced instructors will share with you their passion for Ski Touring, and thanks to their experience and knowledge of the resort they will always take you to find the ideal snow in the greatest locations.
This is a great way to escape the crowded slopes and discover different areas of the resort and observe breathtaking scenery that awaits you!! (A half or full day is required)
Security is a priority and the 360 Ski School in Avoraiz can provide all the necessary equipment (transmitter, shovel and probe)
After the effort comes the comfort…once at the top your guide will treat you to some tasters of local savoy specialities and a small glass of white wine…..
